There have been questions on how to figure out what your new bill might look like come June when you receive the first bill reflecting the price increase going into effect in May.
We can only give you an estimate based on the average of your previous usages. You will be billed on actual usage so please keep in mind this is only an estimate not a true reflection of what your bill will be. Bills will fluctuate per household and per month based on your actual usage.
Feel free to use this formulated Excel Document to find your average usage and what the additional cost estimate would be based on your previous average usage.
INSTRUCTIONS
- Gather your usage information before you start - you can get this from previous bills, by logging into your account online, emailing the City Clerk at: [email protected] or contacting City Hall during business hours.

IN THE HIGHLIGHTED AREAS ONLY:
- Enter your account Usage information
- To the right of each month in the highlighted cell enter the total number of gallons used
- Enter the total number of months used. in the highlighted cell (towards the bottom) enter the number of months you put data into. (Example - You entered numbers in the highlighted cells from April - December, this is 9 months. You would enter 9 into the highlighted cell.
- The sheet will total for you, the "Estimated Total of New Bill" reflects the ESTIMATE of your new bill based on the average previous usage. This is only an estimate, you will be billed based on your actual usage.
