Notice 07-17-2026 : Reminder to be aware of wasps this time of year as they get very aggressive. There have been reports of them at the boat landing, public works is doing what they can but there is no nest, it seems they are gathering to make their nests. Please be cautious.

Notice is hereby given that the Backus City Council will hold a Special Meeting on Monday, May 11, 2026, at 6:30 p.m. at Backus City Hall. This meeting is in place of the regularly scheduled May 4^th, 2026, Council Meeting.

Purpose: Rescheduled Regular Council Meeting; all regular business may be conducted.
